The Technothon 2026 website is committed to ensuring accessibility for all users, including persons with disabilities, in line with the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
Accessibility features
- A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
- Adjustable text size (A- / A / A+) in the top identity bar.
- Keyboard-navigable menus, forms and controls with visible focus outlines.
- Descriptive alternative text on informative images.
- A “Reduce motion” option in the footer for users who prefer a calmer, static experience.
- Sufficient colour contrast for text against its background.
- Semantic headings and landmarks for assistive technologies.
Standards conformance
We are working towards full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. Some third-party or media content may not yet be fully accessible. We are progressively addressing these. [A formal accessibility audit is recommended prior to public launch.]
