This website is provided to inform prospective participants about the Technothon Challenge and to accept team registrations. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and not to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its underlying systems.

Registration is subject to the eligibility criteria and rules set out on the Guidelines page. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. Submitting false information, or plagiarised or infringing content, may lead to disqualification.

Each participating organisation may field one team through a single account. A team may enter one or both problem statements, submitting separately for each, but an organisation may not register more than one team.

You and your team retain ownership of the intellectual property in your submission. NIOT reserves a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to reference submissions in official reports and publications relating to the challenge. Full IP terms are set out in the Guidelines.

While every effort is made to keep the information on this website accurate and up-to-date, it is provided on an “as is” basis without warranty of any kind. NIOT and the Ministry of Earth Sciences do not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the information or availability of this website. In the event of any conflict between website content and official challenge documents, the official documents prevail.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
